Most of these recordings were originally from live broadcasts during Brewer & Shipley shows between 1971 and 1989.  One is from a 1978 radio interview that featured Michael and Tom playing three rare songs that never made it to a Brewer & Shipley record.

Unfortunately, the artists were never in control of, nor involved in, deciding the fate of these recordings.  A couple of these were bootlegged, although their impact on other B&S recordings was probably negligible.  On the positive side, Michael and Tom are happy that some of their live performances and unrecorded song have been preserved.

On the various live recordings you will hear in-concert-only gems "One Kind Favor," "Indian Summer/To Love Somebody," "You Ain't Goin' Nowhere," and "One Toke Over The Line" with the 3rd verse.  You will also hear several rare and unreleased songs “Bringing Em Back Alive,” “Take Me Away,” “Eugene,” "Wealthy Man," "What Ya Doin Tonight," and "Runaway Heart."  But more importantly, you will hear Brewer & Shipley in their element, performing their songs live.
